To The Daily Sun,
I read with interest The Sun's Nov. 3 story about the Laconia School Board Ward 2 race. Kelley Gaspa-Caravona and Laura Dunn are running for the seat. In the story, Dunn touts her service on the Pleasant Street School PTA. That's a head-scratcher as Ward 2 elementary school students attend Woodland Heights School, a one-minute drive from Dunn’s home.
Voters have to ask themselves why a candidate for the school board from Ward 2 enrolls her own children, and serves on the PTA, at a school for other city wards.
Ward 2 parents, their children and Woodland Heights School deserve the full support of their Ward 2 School Board representative.
As a proud parent of three Woodland Heights graduates, I’m voting for Kelley Gaspa-Caravona.
Go Wildcats!

This LTE is very disappointing coming from someone I have come to admire. Laura Dunn is running for School Board Ward 2 Woodland Heights is in Ward 5. Laura serving in the PTA where her kids attend is the right thing to do. Also Ward 2 doesn’t have an elementary school . Laura has been serving ward 2 and her constituents honorably.
