To The Daily Sun,

The "cute" poem that was written last week regarding the horrific Israeli-Gazan war is offensive.

In the middle of the poem, a line reads, “fairness, justice hand and hand” and concludes, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free."

Though Israel was created by the United Nations in 1948 as a legitimate Jewish State, then fought war after war against its Arab neighbors whom have tried unsuccessfully to destroy it since its creation; had Hamas terrorists raced across the Israeli-Gazan border on Oct. 7 (using underground tunnels made from moneys that were supposed to be used for humanitarian aid), and then mutilated, raped and tortured thousands of innocent Israeli citizens (mostly young adults dancing and singing at a national concert). How this poem writer also suggests destroying the state of Israeli (that’s what "[Jordan] River to the [Red] Sea" means — all the land controlled by Palestinian Arabs) and then she has the audacity to call this "fairness and justice" is beyond my belief.

I wish The Daily Sun would not print letters that promote hate speech and cruel irony.
