Marc Abear: US military bases in Europe on heightened alert

The Pentagon made news recently; U.S. military bases in Europe are on heightened alert. There is credible intelligence suggesting an attack by Islam. One target is the U.S. Army garrison in Stuttgart. The FBI and CIA warned for months; the threat of Islamic terror is rising in the homeland and to U.S. interests abroad.

The Pentagon raised the alert level to Force Protection Condition “Charlie” meaning an attack is likely, based on high confidence intelligence. The same is true of bases in Germany, Italy, Romania, and Bulgaria.

Numerous European officials say Islamic radicalism is a clear and present danger to the continent. It’s not just in Germany or France. They caution against travel to Europe this summer. They’re not going to stop all the attacks.

Just weeks ago, Germany’s Interior Minister warned Islamic radicals are the greatest threat to her country.

We know Islamic radicals and their ideologies are on the march towards U.S. communities and U.S. military bases. In the U.S. and U.E., governments have open borders. In doing so they’ve conducted very little vetting. That includes what the cultural or religious affinities of the migrants or aliens might be.

This has allowed in Islamists who seek to kill, and create Islamic nations in Europe and North America. Now the price must be paid for the reckless policies. U.S. intel or law enforcement won’t stop all attacks here.

If there ever was a time to have a competent commander in chief in the White House, this would be it. We do not have that. Worse the Democrat Party could care less. They are positioning themselves to retain power; not to protect the welfare and safety of America. Their loyalty is to power “über allies.”
