With Fox News purchaser of Super Bowl coverage, we all saw Donald Trump with daughter Ivanka in the stands. Camera shot. Omitted was the sound of tiered audience booing. I learned of it later from non-pro-Trump news coverage. Another should-be-reported news item — before Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu's visit with Trump (1st head of state having this honor), Trump publicized his intention to "send Israel $1 billion in additional weapons, including $700 million for 1,000-pound bombs and $300 million for armored bulldozers. Trump also lifted the Biden administration's suspension of deliveries of 2,000-pound bombs to Israel." (Marjorie Cohn, Truthout)
Will Trump's people/voters like his continuation of Joe Biden's genocide, that Biden's people/voters didn't like? Horrifying that the conservative majority on our U.S. Supreme Court is there with Trump's and Mitch McConnell's earlier working of the system. Nothing, illegal in other circumstances, will successfully be called out as illegal now. We have a perfect storm of permission-granted for Trump and his henchman Elon Musk to do every damage. Significant that when Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath of office, to support our U.S. Constitution, Roberts let it slide that Trump didn't place his hand on the Bible that Melania held. Heaven help us and our world. Coming at us now: dictatorship, Republican Congress permitting.
