To The Daily Sun,

U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has declared that U.S. soldiers over 30 must be tested for testosterone levels. Apparently, he wants soldiers he visits in public and private to be rock hard. Interesting.

Last year he gave a speech to a roomful of generals where his main concern was too many fatties in arms.

Instead of his obsession with the battle of the bulge, he should focus on cutting the fat in military spending. In April President Donald Trump warned, “It’s not possible for us to take care of daycare, Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things … We have to take care of one thing: military protection. We have to guard the country.”

At the same time, Trump’s sons Donald Jr. and Eric, according to a Washington Post investigation, are making a fortune by amassing “a portfolio of defense technology start-ups that are benefiting from new Pentagon priorities and spending.”

As Hegseth worries about testosterone and fat troops, the rest of us should worry about the fat cats who are profiting from a war-oriented administration that self-deals to family and friends while cutting vital services to the rest of us.
