To The Daily Sun,

Kudos to Officer Ainsley Bruno of the Gilmanton Police Department for her heroic efforts in saving the life of a badly injured child. The prompt application of a bleeding control device (tourniquet) clearly saved this girls life. From the description of The Daily Sun news article, it sounds like the child severed her brachial artery. A child would bleed out and die in less than two minutes from such an injury if the bleeding wasn’t stopped. It's always nice to celebrate our local police officers when they’re actions go above and beyond.

Strong work Officer Bruno.
