To The Daily Sun,

George Floyd's brutal death is being used across the nation to incite social unrest. Before I go on let me make it clear that what happened to George Floyd is the definition of injustice. Yet the riots, looting, and violence that go along with many of these protests across the country are part of the problem, not the solution. In fact the protest themselves I believe are misguided. They are being encouraged to misdirect the focus of the people to the destructive doctrine of white privilege.

That's right, white privilege is a destructive doctrine with little to no basis in truth. It's intended purpose is to set black people against white people, white people against white people who do not subscribe to this doctrine. Those who hold this doctrine judge people not by the content of their hearts but by which class or race you belong to. Its intent is to cause division and to tear away what is left of the Christian fabric of our culture in our nation. It is an evil doctrine. Consider the violence that goes hand in hand with it.

If we truly want justice to prevail in our nation, wouldn't it serve us better to humble ourselves and exalt the all-powerful God of justice and mercy, Who works all things according to His wisdom and counsel? This is what we should be PEACEFULLY protesting in the streets and for, and praying for.
