Sheila Kufert makes Gaza all about Oct. 7 and the Holocaust, minimizing Palestinian suffering and Israel's atrocities. Oct. 7 was horrific, but since then, Israel's IDF has killed 40 times as many in retaliation. Israeli war strategy, the Dahiya doctrine, inflicts widespread destruction on civilian infrastructure. It's a disproportionate and asymmetric warfare tactic that violates war crime laws and universal morality and should be labeled properly: State terrorism. Ms. Kufert has falsely claimed there was no Gaza blockade, no Palestinians are starving, Israelis don't unjustifiably shoot children, and it's Hamas that attacks aid trucks. She's divorced from reality. Gangs of right-wing Zionists block, attack, and destroy aid. These crimes are supported by Israeli ministers Benjamin Netanyahu, Bezalel Smotrich, and Itamar Ben-Gvir.
In ancient times, the region was home to many other tribes besides Jews, including Semitic Arabs. Since the seventh century, Jews have not been the majority population there. When the earl of Balfour's declaration was penned in 1917, the Jewish population in Palestine was 10%. By 1948, Jews made up 30% of the population thanks to the Zionist lobby and Britain's endless tabling of Palestinian self-determination. From its beginnings, Zionism meant mass expulsion and land theft by European Jews. From the 1920s onward, Zionist militias like Irgun, Lehi, Haganah, and Palmach used terror attacks as a strategy against both the British and the Palestinian Arabs. As soon as the British mandate ended, Plan Dalet began. Dalet was the blueprint used to drive Palestinians out. The threats, massacres, bombings, destruction of hundreds of villages, and deaths of thousands of unarmed civilians had a terrifying impact, causing 700,000 Palestinians to flee for their lives. To Palestinians, the colonial powers of the West and European Jews stole their land and continue to steal more so they will never stop fighting the injustices.

guy literally doesn't care a thing about the jewish people. October 7 was a declaration of war, and war is he ll. Get it together.
