To The Daily Sun,

An open letter to those who responded to my Mother’s Day poem:

I was overwhelmed with the response from the community. I received flowers, candy, chocolates, and cards. Gifts that were both unexpected and appreciated. I received gifts from people who chose to not be named, and some with first names only. I called my daughter, crying tears of joy, to tell her about the response. I wrote this poem a long time ago, and wanted to share it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
