To The Daily Sun,
I am responding to Carol Mickus' letter about the coronavirus situation keeping her from being able to obtain medical treatment following a stroke in mid-March.
I believe this virus is being used by globalists in our government to test our willingness to be robbed of our constitutional rights. I have had problems of another nature caused by the over reach of this government, which I won't go into, but I want to tell you what has helped me.
Eight years ago I found myself in a situation of great fear, hopelessness and despair. I was in a very tough spot and there was no one to help me. I decided that I needed to find God because there was no one else. I found some books on prayer at my local thrift shop written by seasoned Christians giving amazing testimonials of answered prayer. I knew what I was reading was true. A few days later I went outside and saw a store front church across the street from where I lived. It had been there for years but I had never seen it. I started going. The pastor's wife told me to read the Gospel of John. I read it and believed it.
I began asking Jesus to help me and He did. I could write a book on the amazing helps I got; both in the physical realm and in my emotional well being. Maybe some day I will. At a certain point I realized I needed more than help for my troubles, I needed salvation. I accepted the sacrifice He made on the cross to pay for my sins and I was saved.
Jesus has never left me. He has never stopped helping me. Along the way, I went through periods where my troubles got worse. This never happened without the outcome being that after that episode was over, I was closer to Him and more in filled by Him than before. It got to the point where anytime things got really bad, I knew that period would be followed by more peace, more fullness of His presence, more help with the physical, tangible side of things and more being conformed to His image. Without fail, this was always the outcome. I had another phase of hard times recently and I feel closer and more secure in His presence with me and in me than ever. It just keeps getting better. And the troubles of the recent bad phase are also starting to subside in the physical dimension. He really is there. And He really does love me.
I believe Jesus Christ is the answer to everything. Carol, if you don't know Him, get to know Him. He will be with you, He will help you. Best of all, you'll know that no matter what happens, you're safe. Because He's got you. You'll be safe in His arms forever. And this amazing new life starts now. You don't have to wait to die.
