To The Daily Sun,

Yes, it is that time of year again when the voters will decide their representatives for Carroll District 3, and I certainly hope that I am one of them to win in the primary on Sept. 8. I have filled out so many surveys and made so many pledges that I have earned a 100% rating.

Here are some of the important issues I will vote on.

I will vote in favor of Defending the Constitution of the United States and New Hampshire.

I will vote to promote less government.

I will always vote no on a state tax or an income tax.

I will always vote for public safety funding and protection of our children in schools.

I will always vote for parental rights.

I will vote no for an increase in taxes, no for new taxes, and yes to lower property taxes.

I will vote to cut wasteful spending.

I will vote pro-life.

I will vote for programs for mental health disabilities and treatments.

I will always vote for Right-to-Work.

This is my business experience, which I feel gives me the tools needed to ascertain the pressing issues and reach the best decision on the subject:

  • General contractor and builder for 50 plus years with 25 employees, licensed master in all trades
  • Vice president of World Apostolate of Fatima USA, in Washington, New Jersey
  • Founder of Marine Corps League in New Hampshire in March 1982
  • Met with Gov. Jeanne Shaheen to establish the Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen
  • President of Moultonborough Lions Club and established the “Annie Fortes Up Syndrome Fund” scholarships for medical students training in Down Syndrome
  • Served as Grand Knight and as Faithful Navigator for the Knights of Columbus
  • Education: Bachelor of science in business from Liberty University; master's degree in business administration; and certificates in project management from Villanova University
