To The Daily Sun,

In the Letters to the Editor of September 9 (“Media sympathizes with one party, shirking their responsibilities”) it is worth noting that the primary sources quoted in support of the author’s otherwise undocumented and disjointed rant are both fictional characters; namely, Forrest Gump and Daffy Duck, a cartoon animal.

Given today’s political climate and the upcoming presidential election, one can only hope that voters’ viewpoints and the choices they make will rely on “fact not fiction” from balanced and verified sources as they cast their mail-in or in-person ballots. In doing so, may truth prevail and may we save ourselves from re-electing the current resident-in-chief of the White House and his cult-like, Kool-Aid sipping supporters. Th-th-th-“that’s all folks!
