There was a letter in last Saturday's Laconia Daily Sun (Feb. 21) with reasons President Donald Trump should be impeached. With my thanks to the author, I can think of a few more.
The attempted overthrow of the results of the election of 2020; the pardoning of the rioters of Jan. 6; the lying about the danger of COVID-19, when Trump knew that it wouldn't disappear like magic; battleships to Iran instead of lowering food prices; attacking old foes; raiding Fulton County to recount ballots (11,780); ICE not getting "the worst of the worst"; inhumane detention centers; the renaming of public buildings; the 2-month-old with bronchitis and other children; profiting from the presidency; the demolition of the East Wing for a ballroom; repealing of landmark climate findings; promoting coal mining; idiotic cabinet members; favoring Putin over Zelenskyy; saying Susan Rice should be fired; and some I've forgotten amid all the CHAOS.
Can we afford to let this lying convicted felon destroy our democracy for another 10 months?
