Bruce Cheney has gone out of his way this campaign attempting to do his best Joe Biden impersonation, hiding and avoiding the tough questions while holding on to achievements 30 years back. Nostalgia isn't a strategy. Laconia is entitled to leadership that's grounded in today's issues, not yesterday's news.
We all revere the past. But it's 2025. Our city has urgent issues — homelessness, housing, public safety, economic development — and requires a mayor who's ready to rise to the challenge. That is why I'm voting for Mike Bordes.
