To The Daily Sun,

I'm supporting Kurt Webber for NH State Senate in District 2 because I'm tired of politics that puts party over people. Kurt is a leader of real character, an Eagle Scout, a West Point graduate, and a retired Army officer, who has spent his life putting principle first ― a person we can trust.

Our current senator has voted a straight party line on issue after issue, from stripping local towns of their say over data centers to voting against relief for property taxpayers. That's not representation. That's an agenda.

In listening to Kurt Webber speak, I know that, as a senator, he will work with anyone willing to work with him to put this district's interests first, not a rigid ideology. It’s about time we had that kind of representation. I urge all voters in District 2, regardless of party, to join me in voting for Kurt Webber to represent the towns of Ashland, Belmont, Campton, Center Harbor, Gilford, Holderness, Laconia, Meredith, New Hampton, Sanbornton, Sandwich and Thornton in the state senate on Nov. 3.
