To The Daily Sun,

I have lived in Moultonborough for six years. This year, more and more people I speak with say that on Nov. 3 they are voting for Bryan Randolph and Todd Milliken for the Statehouse. They will represent Tamworth, Madison and Moultonborough. Rep. Bobbi Boudman, who is running for state senate, is also getting rave reviews.

The Statehouse and Senate Republicans have been in power for nearly a decade. Their votes have caused people's property taxes to climb every year. For example, they voted to defund our police and firefighters' pensions, shifting the cost down to taxpayers.

They have cut taxes for multinational corporations like Walmart and Home Depot, which are making record profits, and forced voters to pay for the services those tax cuts used to cover.

They have given numerous tax breaks to the richest 1% of New Hampshire residents, but zero tax breaks for the rest of us. This means we pay higher property taxes to cover the hundreds of millions of dollars the wealthiest among us used to pay and could easily afford to pay again.

Bryan Randolph, Todd Milliken and Rep. Bobbi Boudman have pledged to restore those lost revenues and use them to pay for keeping our lakes clean, adequately funding our police and firefighters, providing early childhood daycare, and making housing affordable again.

Please join me in deciding that it is time for a positive change and vote for Bryan Randolph, Todd Miliken, and Bobbi Boudman.
