Bob 'Doc' Jones: Debate performance did not change this independent's mind about Harris

Independent ideas on debate. Who cares?

Anyway, it was hard to watch for me. It wasn’t Donald Trump and Kamala Harris but also "Obama enter stage." That may sound strange but she did a great imitation of Barack Obama. Really, right from the start. Trump was Trump, sounded the same as years ago, like him or not, but Harris right from the get go, so very different. The smile was different. More confidence, the thumb pressed against the forefinger, just like Obama, my first thought. Her speech, slow, positive, direct. Complete. Direct to Trump. Not shaken by anything he said and no cackle but a grin of "I got it." Trump's face looked red with little come back and when he did about “people eating dogs” sounded way off, even if true sounded so out of place and looking for something, struggling.

Anyway, just this independent’s view. So, does it change my mind? Nope, she can’t lead a country and certainly not with “winky-nuts." One debate, instructed by Obama, my guess. Nope, commander in chief? OMG. Please, not with our children, mothers, fathers.

Has to be Trump surrounded by people who can handle him and say no or yes and make him listen. This time.
