To The Daily Sun,
Richard Grenier is well known to the people of Gilford for his selfless sacrifice of time and energy, serving as selectman for six years previously, as well as being elected to or serving as a representative of the selectboard to the Budget Committee, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Planning Board as well as the Solid Waste (chair), Department of Public Works building (chair), and Capital Improvement Committees, helping bring positive changes to the town transfer station and public works building.
The knowledge and experience Grenier has gained in these positions is in stark contrast to his opponent who has entered his first campaign for any town board this year, starting with a run for selectboard. With the current town administrator retiring soon, Gilford will be in search of a new one. It is of the utmost importance that we choose someone for selectboard with Grenier’s vast experience in Gilford’s town government. This will help ensure the right person is picked and Grenier can then assist in the transition while not being a liability while learning the job of selectboard on the fly.
A 50-year resident of Gilford, Grenier is coming forward again to help lead the town he truly loves, not looking to use this selectboard election as a stepping stone to a future election for county office. Along with his extensive local government bona fides, Grenier is a former Gilford Volunteer Firefighter, Army veteran, Belknap County Jail Superintendent and Belknap Sportsman’s Club president. He’s a man we can trust because his past results in the exact position he’s seeking are there for all of us to see. There is no guessing. Grenier is the candidate to vote for to be on the selectboard in Gilford.
Vote Grenier for Gilford selectboard.
