Things that Trump can do on Day 1.

I know that I have only a single vote but I can still give advice to anyone who will listen. If at all possible, someone should give the president elect an honest opinion or two. So, here is a list for the first day or shortly thereafter:

1. Put away the red hats and focus on what is needed to fulfill the promise on the hats.

2. Put aside revenge to be meted out to those who held him to a standard of behavior considered acceptable.

3. Make appoints based on qualifications as opposed to rewarding financial contributions or personal friendship.

4. Make informed decisions on the following:

a. Foreign relation

b. Immigration issues

c. The environment

d. Taxation and tariff issues

e. Health care and social security

5. Seek support and cooperation from the opposing political party before dismantling existing regulations.

Sometime this year, say July 4, have a rally to announce all the good things he got done with the help of all the citizens and for the benefit of all the citizens.
