To The Daily Sun,

Since the election, I decided to go back through a pile of papers in my recycle box and noticed a pattern that would indicate opinion writer Robert Reich has a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Every opinion article authored by Robert Reich within the last few months raged on and repeated some lies about President-elect Donald Trump, and even worse maligned his millions of supporters. Now specifically on Oct. 11, he called the GOP "a party of cranks, crackpots and fruitcakes." One could excuse this as his "Deplorables" moment, but I would expect more of any public leader than to paint all political opposition in such light.

I call upon the editor to reject publication of such opinion submissions as it fails to unite, fails reasonable man thinking, and fails to paint his opposition party in a better light.

Time for Robert Reich to grow up and open his mind to the possibility that millions of GOP voters as well as independents that supported the GOP candidate want what's best for the while country, not just the entrenched political hacks in Washington.

Americans that voted for the GOP candidate, Donald Trump are not cranks, crackpots and fruitcakes. These voters are average Americans who chose the candidate that they believe will help improve their lives and future.
