To The Daily Sun,
I’m writing to voice agreement with the letter from David Coburn on Sept. 18. I have the utmost respect for Bruce Cheney and sincere appreciation for his 82 years of knowledge and wisdom. The many years of service he has given to this city will never be forgotten.
However, I do feel now is the time for a new vision for Laconia. I think Mike Bordes is the person we need to lead Laconia down the road ahead. At 48, I believe he will bring the energy and insight to take on the challenges we face today, such as homelessness and affordable housing. Let’s take this opportunity to put new life in the mayor’s office.
