VIBE will return to downtown, expand to other neighborhoods

In true Laconia fashion, we saw many of our community come together to kick-start December with energy and holiday cheer. December 1st saw the premier of Laconia VIBE in downtown, proudly promoting 18 local businesses.

The Board of Directors with Celebrate Laconia would like to extend its extreme gratitude to all who took part in the event and all who continue to support local businesses and grow our economy. In addition, a huge thank you to our partners at Wayfarer Coffee Roasters, who not only helped create the event, but who continue to be a beacon of economic ingenuity for our community. VIBE would not have been a success without all of this support.

And a success it was! With heavier foot traffic at all of the businesses and an energy running through the streets, it was a great way to start the month. Established as an event to stimulate economic growth of Laconia by creating a platform to promote the engagement of neighborhood businesses and community members, Laconia VIBE will return in 2018.

In 2018, we will see VIBE return to downtown Laconia and occur in the other growing neighborhoods; the Weirs and Lakeport. The platform for the event was created so that Celebrate Laconia can work with business leaders in all of our neighborhoods to promote our economy, so you can expect to see VIBE across the City of the Lakes next year.
