To The Daily Sun,

This is a big "thank you" to the wonderful professionals in the emergency room and the walk-in clinic at Lakes Region General Hospital.

One day last week, I spent a very long night with a very upset stomach. The next day, I went to the walk-in-clinic in Gilford, because I still couldn't keep even water down. Two, very nice gentlemen by the names of Paul and Paul (yup, there were two Saint Pauls!) examined me and then sent me to the ER at LRGH because I needed more care than they could provide at the clinic. In the ER I was admitted and, subsequently, extremely well treated by the nursing staff that included Dr. Stephen Dewitt (who had been called by one of the Pauls to say that I was coming), and nurses Chris, Daniel and Irina (if I left someone out, please forgive me).

Kelli from admitting was lovely and Ken from maintenance was a real gentleman (I was entertained watching Ken paint the door frame of the room across the hall as it helped pass the time.) The staff took care of my dehydration and made me feel very well cared for and lucky to have such compassionate people in our local ER.

Accolades to you all as I was able to go back to work at Meredith Bay Colony Club on the weekend. Again, many thanks and God bless.
