To the editor,
Please don't throw your old, torn or faded American Flags in the rubbish. The American Legion will take care of them in the proper way by burning them on flag day, June 14. The Belmont Fire Department will gladly
accept them if you drop them off at the station by June 13.
Please respect our flag, as it is one of our symbols of the freedom we enjoy.
