To the editor,

I recently had a medical emergency at the Gilford Hannaford’s Supermarket and would like to convey my appreciation to all who came to my aid. The kindness of so many wonderful people renewed my faith in humanity and truly made this a joyous holiday season for my family!

As I lay semi-conscious in a store isle there were many people that didn’t hesitate to help a stranger. A heart felt thank you to the two women, Leslie and Andra, who took care of my beautiful 1-year-old daughter during the crisis. It means so much to me and my family that she was cared for so well. There was also a gentleman who called 9-1-1 and then refused to leave my side until paramedics were carrying me away. Your kindness means so much. The Gilford paramedics were professional and courteous throughout this ordeal and willing to go the extra mile to put me at ease. The emergency room personnel were wonderful in caring for my little girl until my family my could arrive. A sincere thank you to all of you.

Words will never express my complete appreciation for everyone involved that day but I am hoping this letter will give them some form of acknowledgment. May you and your families enjoy a blessed holiday and fruitful new year!
