To the editor,

I am writing to give my support to Marge Kerns for Ward 1 City Council. Over the years Marge has shown outstanding leadership, initiative and strong work ethic as a member of the Laconia School Board. She has served our community well over the years in her current School Board role. She has always had the courage to stand by her convictions and will not back down when she is trying to accomplish what is best for our city. As a School Board member she has teamed to create difficult budgets that fit into the tax cap our city has in place. I believe that she is a leader that can take our city in the correct direction.

I ask that on Election Day you consider casting your vote for Marge Kerns for Ward 1 City Council. Remember that November 3rd is Election Day and if you don’t show up to vote you give up your right to have a say in the way the City of Laconia is run. Ward 1 voting is at the Belknap County Nursing Home.

Show up and cast your vote to keep our city running correctly.
