WOLFEBORO — After displaying difficulty staying within the lane on South Main Street Thursday, a Wolfeboro man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
Wolfeboro Police report that Officer Shane Emerson saw a car cross the double yellow line at 5:20 p.m. and stopped the car in front of Huggins Hospital.
The driver, Thomas Norris of Wolfeboro, appeared extremely lethargic, according to police. He agreed to take a field sobriety test, which showed signs of impairment. Norris was arrested and taken to Carroll County Jail. He was released on bail and scheduled to appear in court March 1.
