Around 100 people packed in on Canal Street on Friday evening for another iteration of Concerts on Canal, a series of events hosted downtown in Laconia which bring musical performances to the public on Friday nights. Whiskey Lit, a hard rock band, played covers of songs by Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots and Dio, among other raucous hits. Dozens filed in and out of nearby Defiant Records & Craft Beer, taking their beers into the street to watch the music. Hosted by NH Vintage Vinyl, which is located on the corner of Canal and Main streets, Concerts on Canal are quickly becoming a staple of summer downtown.
