Volunteers prepare for Christmas Village

Matt Mansur, Laconia's assistant Parks and Rec director, is shown here with volunteers Bob Hamel and Ernie Bolduc. The three helped bring this year's version of the annual Christmas Village to life at the Laconia Community Center. The free holiday experience will be open to all from 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 5 and 6, and from 2 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 7 and 8. Additionally, special times will be reserved for senior citizens, 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 7; and for children with disabilities from 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 8.
