Two men have been indicted by a grand jury in Belknap County Superior Court this month on multiple counts of sexual assault against children.
Richard Tessier, 64, of 2 Stark Street, Belmont is facing five charges — one misdemeanor and four felonies — in connection with alleged crimes against a seven-year-old girl.
He is charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault and two counts of felonious sexual assault for allegedly touching the child on her chest, buttock and genital areas, one count of false imprisonment for allegedly holding her by her arms and a misdemeanor charge of simple assault on a child for allegedly kissing the girl.
The alleged incidents took place on September 9 in Belmont.
Timothy Hazelton, 43, of 190 Main St., New Hampton, is facing four felony counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault for allegedly having sex with a girl in a bedroom, closet and computer room, and rubbing his genitals between her legs.
The incidents date back as early as April of 1995 when the child would have been 8-years-old, and as recently as June of 2004.
Today the girl is 17.
