Tickets available for 8th Best of the Lakes Region celebration June 24

The 2026 Best of the Lakes Region summer celebration has a new location, but still features all the fun of previous parties, with added activities and entertainment.

The Lake Estate on Winnisquam will serve as the backdrop for the big night, which will announce the winners of the 2026 Best of the Lakes Region contest, offer winners a chance to pose for photos, and take home magazines detailing their accomplishments.

All the fun lasts from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 24.

The 8th annual celebration follows a record-breaking response to the contest, with 310,000 votes cast across 196 categories.

Enjoy live entertainment from singer-songwriter Katie Dobbins and The Dan Fallon Band, and support the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Fund by buying tickets for the Christmas Tree Raffle, which features $1,300 in prizes. The Laconia Daily Sun will offer two additional raffle prizes: $1,000 worth of new print or digital advertising in The Sun, and local restaurant gift cards. Miss New Hampshire Lauren Plank will help award the prizes.

Sample food from local vendors including Beans & Green Farm, Laconia Village Bakery, Lakes Region BBQ, Giuseppi’s Pizzeria & Ristorante, Dox on Winnisquam, Van Horn Dining Room, and South End Pizza & Seafood.

Event sponsors are Bank of New Hampshire, Comcast Business & Xfinity, and The Lake Estate on Winnisquam.
