A plane crashed on the frozen Half Moon Lake on Saturday. Although there were four passengers in the plane, there were no injuries reported in the crash.

According to a police report, Alton Police responded at about 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 22. A Cessna 170 plane had been flying westerly over the lake when it crashed. The plane was piloted by John Kiley, 48, and Scott Vick, 40, Winnifred Bolduc, 40, and a minor were passengers in the plane.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash.
