LACONIA – Police said yesterday that David Morrill, 42, was the pedestrian struck by a car in an accident on Court Street at 9:55 p.m.
Laconia Police said Daniel Carroll, 25, of Belmont was driving North and Court Street when Morrill ran across the sidewalk and struck the side of his car.
Carroll was driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix and police said there was no apparent damage to his vehicle.
Morrill was taken to the hospital for treatment of what police said were non-life threatening injuries.
Police said speed didn't appear to be an issue and the accident remains under investigation.
