LACONIA — Armand Maheux, the chairman of the Police Commission, will run unopposed for his fourth term in November. In the primary, no less than 14 people finished in a dead-heat behind Maheux with a single write-in vote apiece, qualifying any one of them to bid for a place opposite the incumbent on the general election ballot. However, when asked by City Clerk Ann Kaligian if they wished to pursue their candidacies, they all declined.
