The Laconia Senior Center held a holiday party on Thursday morning. The party started with finger foods and snacks, and then diners were served a braised beef meal, made by Chef Dennis Keon, then homemade cake for dessert. Seniors also participated in a raffle for Christmas gifts, like snow globes. The Laconia Rod & Gun Club gave out holiday cards with gift cards inside. The gift cards came from the club's Santa Jam fundraiser at the beginning of the month, which had a live auction, raffle and musical entertainment to raise money for kids and seniors in the community.
