LACONIA — City Clerk Mary Reynolds has resigned effective Oct. 13, City Manager Scott Myers said Wednesday.
Myers said that Reynolds plans to move out of state with her family. Reynolds was not available for comment Wednesday.
She was appointed to the city clerk's position in 2008 and earns $60,042 per year.
“She is very detail-oriented and passionate about what she does,” Myers said. “She will be missed.”
The city has posted the city clerk's job on its website, listing a salary range of $43,495 to $61,525, with applications accepted until Sept. 22. Minimum qualifications include a college degree and experience in office management and record keeping, with previous experience in a municipality preferred.
