Just follow the pumpkin-brick road

Elizabeth Toce and Ash Gomez, Laconia High School students who are members of the Freedom Found program, were among volunteers painting the sidewalk in front of the Soda Shoppe in downtown Laconia orange Tuesday evening in preparation for Saturday’s New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival. The sidewalk will be repainted with a red brick color following the festival. Rain that evening shows up in the photo as white spots. (Roger Amsden photo for the Laconia Daily Sun)
