The SAU 59 Board has voted unanimously to appoint Dr. Tammy Davis as the new superintendent of the Winnisquam School District.
Dr. Davis currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services in the Brandywine School District in Claymont, Delaware. She holds a Ph.D in Educational Administration from Ohio State University.
Dr. Davis was one of three finalists for the position who participated in “meet and greet” forums last week. “We are extremely pleased to have Tammy Davis as our new superintendent,” said SAU 59 Board Chair Nina Gardner. “She is widely respected as a true educational leader — a leader who will always put our kids first.”
Dr. Davis will be assuming the position on July 1.
