LACONIA — Residents wishing to vote in the Nov. 6 General Election can register at City Hall until Oct. 29, or at the polls on Election Day, City Clerk Cheryl Hebert said Thursday.
Documents required for voter registration:
Proof of identity, such as driver license, non-driver’s ID, passport, or a Qualified Voter Affidavit may be completed.
Proof of citizenship, such as birth certificate, passport or naturalization papers, or a Qualified Voter Affidavit may be completed.
Proof of domicile/residency, such as utility bill or mail with current address postmarked within the last 30 days. College students who live on campus can get documentation from their school.
Those wishing to vote must be 18 years old by Election Day.
Absentee ballots are available at the City Clerk’s office.
