Staffers from the Laconia Department of Public Works clear snow on Elm Street in Lakeport Tuesday morning. While DPW always clears extra snow, employees are removing snow ahead of the upcoming snowstorm on Thursday, to give the plows more space to clear newly fallen snow off the road. The storm comes a week after 9 inches of snow was dumped on Laconia. Thursday's storm is expected to bring about 1 inch of snow, with forecasts predicting another potential 10 to 19 inches over the weekend.
