NORTHFIELD — At about 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, a car crashed into a house located on the corner of Peverly Road and Hodgdon Road in Northfield.
The resident of the home was sitting in her living room when the vehicle crashed through her wall. Northfield Police officers helped the woman out of her house, then she was transported to Franklin Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver of the car, identified as Tonia Dukette, 42, of Franklin, was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by Tilton-Northfield firefighters. She was arrested, charged with driving while under the influence, ordered to appear in Franklin Court on March 12, and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail.
