BELMONT — The Belmont Selectboard will host its monthly morning meeting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the Belmont Mill, with an agenda focused on old business.
In new business, to kick off the meeting, the board will consider a request to accept $7,736 from the sale of town property, with $7,656 earmarked for the fire department to purchase life safety equipment.
A recap of Saturday’s deliberative session will also be discussed, and the police department will recognize new hires.
On Friday, a property at 200 Daniel Webster Hwy was auctioned off, and some of the monies goes back to the town. Town Administrator Alicia Jipson will provide an update on the sale to the selectboard.
Finally, the selectboard will revisit a conversation about an all-way stop sign on Route 140 at the intersection of Main Street, Church Street and Gilmanton Road.
And Fire Chief Donald Pickowicz will provide the final update on the funding needed for the town to meet its part of the requirements for a $500,000 Granite State Clean Fleet program.
