A 58-year-old Belmont motorcyclist died following a crash Thursday in Salisbury, according to State Police.
State Police responded to a call for medical assistance at a home in Warner at 6:37 a.m. on Aug. 28. Upon arrival, officers found the operator, Charles McWilliams, deceased. According to a news release, “an autopsy later determined that McWilliams died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.”
McWilliams crashed his motorcycle on Route 127, in Salisbury, on Aug. 27, causing serious physical trauma. Police say he did not report the accident, nor seek medical attention. Requests for more information about the death were not returned by press time.
Belmont Police say a member of the department notified McWilliams' next of kin about the death.
