LACONIA — After witnessing what police described as a possible drug transaction between two separate motorists at Cumberland Farms early Friday morning, police arrested one of them and charged him with multiple drug offenses.

Adam Leisner, 28, of 37 Deware Drive is charged with one count of possession of heroin/fentanyl, one count of possession of methamphetamine, and one count of possession of marijuana. He is also charged with breach of bail and driving after his license was suspended.

According to police affidavits, the officer who witnessed the suspicious action called for a supervisor and they went to talk to Leisner and the other man.

The officer noticed what appeared to be a glass pipe in the driver's side door handle of the car. When asked, Leisner allegedly said it was his "weed pipe."

Police also learned that Leisner's drivers license has been suspended.

When Leisner refused to allow police to search his car, they applied for and received a search warrant. During the search police found some heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana in separate bags that were inside a bigger bag that also contained Leisner's Health ID card.

Police found additional drugs in a backpack that was in the back seat of the car.

Leisner was held over night. He waived arraignment, entered a plea of not guilty and was ordered held on $2,000 cash only bail.
