A fight at High Street and Union Avenue at around 10 p.m. on Saturday that reportedly involved six people have Laconia Police looking for two, black male suspects.
According to a statement released by the LPD, the two suspects are alleged to have attempted to pull a female into their vehicle and were thwarted when two male bystanders — a B. Sonthikoummane and S. Sonthikoummane intervened. Police report that S. Sonthikoummane suffered a laceration to his right hand as a result of having been stabbed by one of the suspects with a broken beer bottle.
The suspects' vehicle was described as a light, possibly tan or gray sedan bearing a New Hampshire license plate believed to include the letters "SHAY." According to police, one of the suspects — possibly named Steve — was wearing a red t-shirt, and both he and his accomplice were sporting short dreadlocks.
