Laconia High School homecoming king and queen Carter Jones and Samantha Wylie rode through Busy Corner atop a cherry-red Audi convertible on Friday afternoon, escorted by dozens of other students dressed in festive garb during the annual homecoming parade. City residents lined Union Avenue and Church Street as throngs of students marched toward downtown. Kept in step by the school's marching band, a group of alumni also participated in the parade, which started at 4:30 p.m. at the high school.
