LACONIA — A local woman was sentenced to a year’s confinement and ordered to comply with a number of conditions after pleading guilty to selling drugs in the city.

Heather R. Davis, 45, of Appleton Street, in Laconia, pleaded Thursday in Belknap Superior Court to two counts of sale of methamphetamine.

Judge James D. O’Neill III sentenced Davis to 12 months in the Belknap County House of Correction on one count and ordered her to pay $100 in restitution. On the second count, O’Neill sentenced her to a suspended two- to five-year prison sentence, which will take effect after she is released from the correctional facility. The suspended sentence is conditioned on three years good behavior, and that she enter and complete an intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program within two months.

O’Neill also ordered Davis to serve two years probation on each count and imposed a suspended $620 fine on each count on condition of two years good behavior.

According to court records, Davis was arrested after she sold methamphetamine in December 2017 and February 2018 to an undercover buyer who was working with Laconia Police.
