A Grafton County Superior Court Grand Jury has indicted Tirar D. Tortorello, 50, of Washburn Road, Alexandria, on a Class A felony charge of possessing the controlled drug buprenorphine in Lebanon after having been convicted of an earlier drug charge in Belknap County.
An indictment is not a finding of guilt, but an independent jury’s decision, after hearing from police, that sufficient evidence exists to warrant a court trial.
Among the other indictments handed up during the January grand jury session was a Class B felony charge against Tara Pierce, 48, of River Road, Plymouth, for allegedly operating a motor vehicle after having been certified as a habitual offender.
Chance Liberty Griffin, 26, of Richmond Road, Winchester, is facing a Class B felony charge of driving in Bristol after having been declared a habitual offender.
