LEGO Masters won’t be stacking its way to a new season this summer. The competition show found a new host in Nick Cannon for Season 6, but a premiere date has not been announced, despite the past seasons airing around this time.
The Fox show, including the spinoff LEGO Masters Jr., has been hosted by Will Arnett since Season 1, but will now have Cannon at the helm. However, fans don’t know when that will be, as it has been one year since the host change, and very few updates have been given.
“I’m a huge fan of LEGO Masters,” Cannon said in a June 2025 statement. “It’s an honor to join the series and host another show with my FOX family. Season 6, we’re bringing an action-packed hour full of family fun, passion, and for the first time ever, in-person audition episodes. I can’t wait to see the insane creations and give away a big bag of money to the best of the best.”
LEGO Masters is a show where teams compete to build the best creations out of LEGO after being given a theme by the Brick Masters. They are then judged on what they made, and a pair is eliminated each week. The winner of the competition takes home the LEGO Masters trophy and $100,000.
Cannon is also the host of The Masked Singer, which airs on Fox. The competition series went from two to one season per year. Cannon is also a dad to 12 children, which could take up a lot of his time.
During the Fox Upfronts on May 11, it was announced that Season 6 of LEGO Masters will premiere in mid-season, meaning it won’t arrive until 2027, probably at the beginning of the year.
A reason was not given for the schedule shift, but with Cannon’s obligation to Masked Singer, as well as the 2026 World Cup airing on Fox throughout June and July, that is the best explanation.
Reddit users wondered where the new season was since it is the time of year for it to air. “Where is US season 6? I can’t find anything about release or anything, and it’s been a while since the last season,” the original poster asked.
“I agree. It’s been like a year with no LEGO Masters,” a fan replied.
“I know, right? Feels like it’s been long enough,” a third added.
However, some fans said it should “just be canceled” due to the new host.
“When is it even coming back?” a fan on another thread wondered.
