LACONIA — The Dockside Dreamers, a team made up primarily of teens, participating in the annual Rafting for Wishes fundraiser, invite the community to join them for a special Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Friday, July 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Laconia Rod & Gun Club at 358 South Main St.

Guests can enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner while supporting a meaningful cause. The evening will also feature raffles, prizes, and opportunities to help the Dockside Dreamers reach their fundraising goal for Make-A-Wish New Hampshire.

The Dockside Dreamers are raising funds to help grant wishes for children facing critical illnesses. The team includes Alyssa Searles, a teenager from the Lakes Region, cancer survivor, and Make-A-Wish alumna. After experiencing the impact of a wish firsthand, Searles wanted to give back to the organization that brought hope, strength, and joy to her and her family during one of the most challenging times in their lives.

By participating in the 16th annual Rafting for Wishes event, Searles and her teammates are working to ensure that more children and families can experience the life-changing impact of a wish.

Community members are encouraged to attend, enjoy a great meal, try their luck at the raffles, and support this worthwhile cause. Every dollar raised will help Make-A-Wish New Hampshire continue granting wishes to children facing critical illnesses throughout the state.

Those who are unable to attend but would still like to support the Dockside Dreamers may make a donation directly to the team's fundraising page at friends.nh.wish.org/Dockside-Dreamers.
